Video surveillance · Sizing
A security camera system designed plant by plant.
Two buildings of the same size rarely take the same system. The scene decides, which is why we measure before we quote.
A security camera system gets sized, not copied. How many cameras, which lens, how much light there is at three in the morning, how many days of footage you must be able to review: that is where the real budget comes from.
What makes a project expensive late is finding out halfway that storage covers seven days when head office asked for thirty, or that the dock camera is blinded every morning by the sun.
We work the other way round: first the survey on the plant floor, then the design, and only then the equipment list. So the number we give you is the one that holds to handover.
How we size it
What defines your security camera system
Scene by scene
Every point asks for something different: a backlit dock, a long aisle, an unlit yard. The lens is chosen there, not at a desk.
Days of retention
Storage follows from how many days you need to review. It moves the budget most and gets forgotten most.
NVR and backup power
Recording sized with room to grow, and backup power so an outage does not leave the system blind.
Access control integration
Cameras talk to access control, so an event at the door carries an image with it.
What an industrial plant demands
Dust, shifts and long buildings change the math
An office is solved with indoor cameras and good light. A manufacturing plant is another matter: long runs, dust, vibration and three shifts that never pause the operation.
We have installed inside those buildings, under their safety rules and access windows. That context separates a system that lasts from one that starts failing by the second summer.
Delivered projects
Systems already running on production floors
KDDI Denso
Cisco FirePower perimeter firewall, CCTV and the CAT6A cabling of the site, all in one project.
Hitachi-Astemo
CCTV across the production lines, managed switches and 30, 10 and 6 kva UPS units.
Marelli
Cisco networking segmented by zone over CAT6 Panduit cabling with a FiberRunner solution.
Government of Queretaro
Telephony, structured cabling and a 120-extension IPO on infrastructure of their own.
Each system was sized against its own plant. None came off a template with the camera count changed.
